Payment Terms

Net 30 days on approved credit. Accounts over 30 days past due are subject to a finance charge of 1.5% per month on the unpaid balance of the invoice (where permitted by law).

Prepaid Freight & Shipping

All shipments and prices quoted are FOB Janesville, Wisconsin. DeVere will prepay full freight charges on orders of 1,000 pounds or more. Separate shipping locations cannot be combined for weight. DeVere reserves the right to select the prepaid freight carrier and to invoice for any additional freight costs incurred in shipment or delivery including, without limitation, liftgate delivery, residential delivery, inside delivery, re-delivery and detention charges. All shipments less than 1,000 pounds will be assigned freight charges prepaid and added to the customer’s invoice. When the customer specifies a carrier, shipment will be made “collect.” DeVere neither accepts responsibility for nor files claims on “collect” shipments.

Shortages or Damaged Goods

DeVere inspects the contents of shipments and carefully assembles them to withstand normal handling in transit. Any shortage, loss or damage sustained in transit is solely the responsibility of the carrier.

All shipments must be inspected upon delivery. If an order arrives without all items shown on the packing list or obvious damage is noted, unpack the shipment at once in the presence of the driver. Notate the shortage or damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt above your signature. Save your copy of the receipt. If damage is discovered after unpacking, immediately advise the carrier at the address shown on your receipt. In either case, notify the delivering carrier in writing at once and request that an inspection report be forwarded to DeVere. DeVere will file the claim against the carrier.

DeVere relinquishes responsibility for the goods when they are turned over to the carrier. Any return of the same must be authorized in writing.

Product Guarantee

DeVere products are subject to a 100% satisfaction guarantee with respect to quality and use. The guarantee is limited to the original cost of the product. Contact DeVere for details.

Returns

Product may be returned pursuant to the DeVere product guarantee within three (3) years of the manufacture date. No returns will be accepted without a Return Authorization Number (RAN) from DeVere and receipt of the items by DeVere within 30 days of the issuance of the RAN. Product must be received in its original carton. No broken cases or damaged, discontinued or obsolete product will be accepted for return. The customer must prepay return freight charges. A credit will be issued upon receipt and inspection of the product. The credit will be based on the original invoiced price, less a 15% restocking fee.
