We publish technical information on this site to help sanitation professionals select, use, and document cleaning and sanitizing products correctly. This page explains who produces that content, how we verify it, and what we do when we get something wrong.
What we publish, and who it’s for
We write for people accountable for sanitation outcomes: quality assurance and food safety managers in food processing plants, executive housekeepers and facility managers in hospitality and food service, and product development teams at companies for whom we manufacture private label formulations.
Our published material falls into four categories:
Product documentation — technical data sheets, safety data sheets, EPA-registered labels, and use directions
Application guidance — cleaning and sanitation procedures, dilution rates, contact times, equipment and dispensing considerations
Regulatory and compliance information — how our products fit into HACCP plans, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures, and FSMA requirements
Company and industry news
We do not publish sponsored content, paid placements, or guest posts, and we do not accept payment to feature, review, or recommend any third party’s products.
Who writes and reviews our content
Technical content on this site is written and reviewed by DeVere employees with direct working knowledge of the subject matter. Product documentation, efficacy information, and regulatory guidance are reviewed by our technical and regulatory staff before publication. Application guidance draws on the field experience of our sales and customer operations teams, who work in customer facilities.
We do not publish technical content that has not undergone qualified human review.
How we handle product performance and efficacy claims
Antimicrobial efficacy claims for our EPA-registered products are limited to the claims appearing on each product’s EPA-registered label. We do not publish efficacy claims, organism claims, or use directions on this website that go beyond the registered label for that product.
Where this website describes what a product does, the EPA-registered label and the product’s technical data sheet are the controlling documents. If anything on this site conflicts with the current registered label, the label governs. Always read and follow the label.
Registration and certification statements — EPA registration and establishment numbers, FDA facility registration, NSF listings, kosher certification, and DOT classifications — reflect our records as of publication. Registrations and certifications change over time. Contact us for current documentation on any specific product.
Sources
Where we reference regulatory requirements, standards, or scientific findings, we rely on primary sources: publications and registrations from the EPA, FDA, USDA FSIS, NSF International, OSHA, and DOT, as well as peer-reviewed research. Where practical, we link to the primary source rather than paraphrasing it.
Accuracy, corrections, and updates
We review published technical content periodically and when a product’s formulation, label, or registration status changes.
If you find an error on this site, tell us. Substantive corrections to technical content are made promptly, and we note when a page has been materially revised rather than changing it silently.
Our commercial interest
DeVere is a manufacturer. Content on this site describes products we make and sell, and it is written to help customers use them well. We aim to be accurate and useful first — but readers should understand this is manufacturer-published material, not independent evaluation.
Where a competing approach or product would better serve a customer, we would rather say so than sell the wrong thing.
