Description
Soak for Silverware is a concentrated, powdered presoak for flatware prior to washing in a commercial dishwashing machine. Our product softens food soils for easy removal, prevents water spotting, and removes tarnish. Rinse flatware thoroughly before placing it in the dishwasher. Soak for Silverware works in soft or hard water.
We care about our consumers and the environment, which is why our product does not contain nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs). Thus, it has fewer regulatory restrictions than similar NPE-containing products.

Presoak for Flatware
Dissolve ¼ cup product in warm water (120°F/49°C) in 2 gal dishpan
- Add flatware and soak until food soils soften
- Rinse thoroughly and place in dishwasher
NOTE: Change solution before each meal, more often for heavy food deposits
Tarnish Removal from Silver-plated or Sterling Silverware
Cover bottom of 2 gal dishpan with aluminum foil
- Dissolve ¼ cup in HOT water in dishpan
- Submerge silverware making sure each piece is in contact with aluminum foil
- Soak for at least 5 minutes
- Remove
- Rinse thoroughly and place in dishwasher
