Description
Caustic HT (high temperature) Powder does not contain chlorine and is designed for challenging applications where high alkalinity is needed or desirable. This product will clean tough protein and burnt-on soils while handling most water hardness levels and heavy, saturated soils. This product is free-rinsing with normal water rinses.
For general cleaning, this product is designed for use at 0.5 – 3% solution strength depending on the equipment and soil. For heavy soil conditions in a HTST, Evaporator, Oven or Fryer, cleaning will be performed at 1 – 3% solution at 145 – 185°F for 30 – 60 minutes
For deep fat fryer cleaning, drain fryer and rinse with hot water. Fill fryer within 3 – 4 in (7.6 – 10.2 cm) with cool water. Add 6 oz (118 ml) product per 4 gal (15.1 L) of water. Boil slowly for 20 minutes. Scrub inside of boiler with long handled brush if necessary. Drain fryer, rinse with clean water, and allow to air dry.
